Car Sales On The Right Path Again

It would certainly seem that the sales of cars have rocketed in January but why is this, are people really feeling the end of the recession?

The Reasons

The amount of sales have really gone up by a lot, 29.8% from the previous year but this will most likely be because the world’s motor industry was in a bit of a state this time last year. The recession has to be the cause of people not buying cars last year,it was not known what the recession would do so they were unprepared to spend money.

The car scrappage scheme has actually been extended even further to March and this is one of the big reasons people are spending money on cars. This actually aloows people a £2,000 trade in sum which of course is why a lot of people are trading in their cars for a new one.

The Christmas period is over and people will perhaps have a bit of extra money spare around the late January early February time and having a really nice car is just one of those luxuries you are going to have if you have a bit of spare money.

Sticking Around?

Well it would certainly seem that overall the motor industry is set for another bad year. 1.Although an expected 82 million cars are meant to be sold this year when you compare it to last year it will be 10% down. Last year was the lowest number of cars sold since 1995.

Although officially the recession is over, people are still going to be feeling the effects of it for a long time. The fact is that many people are spending their money on their homes now trying to fix them up because they haven't had the money in a long while.

Even bad credit car loans are going to be expensive. The best thing to do it look out for cheap lease cars and cheap van leasing.

Help with the Tamiya Shovel/Dozer...?

I've recently bought a "Do it yourself" robot building kit. I have plugged in 2 double AA batteries to test the controller, since I don't have D batteries with me. The back motors wont work.

Also, I'm having trouble with the treads.

If anyone could help me, please do.

I think it might be the controller.. I checked everything, and they worked fine. It might be the brackets on the controller. Let me wipe them down and try some other stuff.

Still waiting for more answers.. :P

run a continuity check on the wires to make sure it has a good electrical path.
