Don't forget that coins have an "inside", and an "outside" (though heads, tails, and edge are a subset of "outside").
And there is a right side and a left side, but these are also redundant to the first three.
So I'd say there are at least four unique "sides" to a coin - Heads, Tails, edge, and the inside.
