WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH MY ICE MACHINE?

I HAVE A MANITOWOC MODEL QY0454A THE COMPRESSOR AND TXV FREEZE OVER HAS PROPER CHARGE AND HAVE A NEW TXV AN HOT LINE SOLENOID INSTALLED WITH SAME RESULTS THIS THING IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

HVAC Tech.: Many of these units are charged with 409A, This refrigerant will split apart into its Component parts and when part of the charge is lost the behavior changes and it won't freeze as it should. Pull a vacuum and recharge with NEW refrigerant. that should cure the problem. Good Luck!
