Home Decor Solutions That Work
One problem that many people have is that they end up living in homes that are not functioning properly. One of the reasons for that is because of the fact that there is too much stuff in the house. The house has a certain dimensions, and can only store so much. When that happens, there is no other place to put things, other than to leave them displayed. So, the home becomes very cluttered, uncomfortable, impractical, and a very stressful place to be in.
Therefore, you must find some solutions. Get rid of some things, reduce the amount of items you buy, or look at different storage options. One place to start is the bedroom. Very often, people use their bedrooms for other tasks besides just as a place to sleep. If you are one of them, you have to do something about it.
For instance, a good many of us will bring a computer and a desk in the bedroom. More often than not it's because we simply don't have another room that we can label an office. So, it makes a lot of sense to put it there because you often need peace and quiet to do some extra work.
A corner workstation can resolve this problem in an instant. These types of desks are slimmer and are meant to go in the corner, so they are the optimum solution for this situation.
There are other solutions that you have to look at. For one thing, work on your closet. Purge any clothing you don't wear, and invest in a closet organizer. Use other types of storage bins or beautiful baskets as well. Keep one or two of these or trays on your dresser for you and your spouse to empty your pockets and place your jewelry on. This way everything looks neat, organized, and you always know where it is.
Shelving is another useful option. Not only can you put your books and magazines on them, they can also be used to display collections, or what have you. Additionally, because they are placed higher, they will lend that necessary height your room I need.
When you find that everything else in your room is working properly, then you can see how much extra space you have in the room. This will allow you to purchase a bigger bed, like a sleigh bed. Perhaps you never wanted to do so before because it might be a little more imposing in a tight space. If everything is in its place, nothing should stop you.
As you may know, sleigh beds are always stylish and beautiful pieces of furniture that can work great with other traditional pieces.
Boss is taking all the tips. Is this illegal in Ontario?
My friend is working at a self serve ice-cream store, so no waiting on tables. She helps customers with the machines. There is a tip tray beside the cashier. She finds when she is extra helpful or something, customers sometimes put money "probably meant for her" in the tip jar. At the end of the day she does not see any tips, and its not included in her pay check. The Owner/boss takes all the tip money for himself. Is this legal to do in Ontario? If it is legal, does anyone have any suggestions how she can approach this issue without getting fired? : P
I don't know Ontario's laws but I would suggest that your friend finds a new place to work. That boss sounds really crooked.
